Job Title: General Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Perform general plumbing and pipe fitting associated with plumbing, including maintaining all water delivery functions in the plant. Analyze, diagnose, and perform building repairs. Conduct general clean-up and maintenance throughout the plant. Operate a variety of equipment, including tow motors, tractors, overhead hoists, and hand carts as necessary to perform maintenance functions. Assist Machine Repair personnel in disassembling, repairing, and reassembling equipment/machinery. Repair and maintain pumps and hydraulics.

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in AKRON, Ohio.

Work Environment

7:00 am to 3:30 pm shift, varies based on business needs or mandatory overtime. 2 openings on 3rd shift. Union environment with a probationary period of 120 days before hiring into the union. Receive .25 cent raise twice a year. Currently, there are 6 total Maintenance Technicians, with an ideal state of 8. Very clean working environment and temperature controlled.
