Job Description:
Desktop Support Technician Location:position is onsite in Akron, OH Duration:3 to 4 month contract to hire opportunity Schedule:(M-F) 7:30am-4:30pm Pay:$19-21/hr (weekly pay on W2) Position Summary:
- Unbox the device (laptop)
- Power up, install Windows updates and drivers, install any required applications
- Install, move, add and change ("IMAC") the device in ServiceNow.
- Re-box the devices
- Create shipping labels and fix to box
- Ship the devices to end-user
- Monitor calls, incidents and requests using client provided ServiceNow tool
Requirements:
- Customer Service skills
- Previous IT support experience (6+ months of experience)
- Windows 10 and O365 experience
- CompTIA A+ certification is a plus
