CNC Machinist (3rd Shift) - Akron, Ohio - JOB 25-00999 Salary Range: $25.00 - $33.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits. Akron Area Manufacturing Company is seeking to hire an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC mills and lathes. REQUIREMENTS • High school graduate, GED, or equivalent experience in a machine shop • 2+ years of manufacturing experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes • Familiar with G Codes, Fanuc Controls (Macro B is a plus), speeds and feeds for lathes and mills • Properly use and interpret micrometers, bore gages, calipers, and other measuring equipment • Able to understand technical documentation, blueprints, routing instructions... • Understanding lean principals preferred • Edit CNC paths and speeds (CNC programming is a plus) • Able to work 3rd shift 9:30 pm -- 6:00 am Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
