Riverwood Healthcare Center Therapy Patient Access Clerk in Aitkin, Minnesota
About the Position:
Provide clerical support, including answering patient calls, scheduling, registration, and insurance authorization. Assist with patient treatment, infection control, and inventory management.
What we are looking for:
High School diploma or GED required; AA degree or healthcare certification preferred
One year of customer service and computer experience required; healthcare experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Assist therapists with patient care and prepare treatment areas
Maintain cleanliness and inventory of equipment and supplies
Manage patient calls, appointments, and medical records
Verify insurance, process payments, and ensure data confidentiality
Promote excellent patient service and adhere to safety protocols
