Riverwood Healthcare Center Physician and APP Recruiter in Aitkin, Minnesota

About the Position:

The Physician and APP Recruitment Specialist is pivotal in shaping our organization’s medical talent landscape. This role involves strategizing and executing recruitment, onboarding, and orientation programs for physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs). The Provider Recruiter will forecast recruitment needs, ensure smooth onboarding for all providers, as well as, medical residents and students.

Essential Duties:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Collaborate with Senior Leadership to align recruitment strategies with organizational needs.

  • Develop and execute recruitment marketing plans to attract top talent.

  • Build and maintain a database of potential candidates and manage a pipeline for timely hiring.

  • Coordinate the interview and selection process for physicians and APPs.

  • Negotiate offers and employment agreements with candidates in partnership with Senior Leadership.

  • Oversee and manage the onboarding and orientation processes for new medical professionals.

  • Work with the Credentialing department to ensure seamless onboarding.

  • Communicate with key department leaders to facilitate successful onboarding.

  • Stay updated on regional and national hiring trends for physicians and APPs.

    What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in the healthcare sector.

  • 3-5 years of experience in healthcare recruitment, marketing, or human resources preferred.

  • Preferred knowledge of principles and practices related to physician and APP recruitment and selection.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication with candidates, medical professionals, and executive leadership.

  • Experience in negotiating compensation packages and understanding physician candidates' unique needs.

  • Ability to handle confidential information, work under pressure, and manage multiple priorities.

  • Demonstrated skills in decision-making, problem-solving, and customer service.
