Description

We are seeking a Bookkeeper for our team situated in Airway Heights, Washington. The industry we operate in is Construction/Contractor and we offer a short term contract employment opportunity. As a Bookkeeper, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of managing financial records, processing payroll, and ensuring the accuracy of accounting transactions.

This is an immediate Full Charge Bookkeeper opportunity that begins right away. This position is located in Airway Heights and is full-time on-site.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain financial records with precision

• Handle payroll operations effectively and efficiently

• Utilize Quickbooks for various accounting tasks

• Ensure compliance with construction accounting principles and regulations

• Monitor financial transactions and reports for accuracy

• Perform full charge bookkeeping duties

• Act promptly on financial discrepancies by resolving them in a timely manner

• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth financial operations.

Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping within the construction industry

• Proficiency in construction accounting and related software

• Ability to manage payroll operations effectively

• Comprehensive knowledge of financial and accounting procedures

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a knack for numbers

• A high degree of accuracy and precision in financial management

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Strong communication skills for dealing with clients, suppliers, and team members

• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines

• Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the construction industry.
