Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in our service industry team in Agoura Hills, California. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, your role will be centered on the maintenance and reconciliation of corporate credit cards, managing accounts payable functions, and processing payments.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and maintain all corporate credit card reconciliations
• Ensure accurate 1099 reporting
• Perform end-of-month account payables to general ledger reconciliation
• Maintain and create vendors in the system
• Handle payment processing activities in an efficient manner
• Utilize Oracle for various accounting functions
• Apply advanced Excel skills to streamline accounts payable processes
• Implement 'Concur' in managing and coding accounts
• Manage 'Account Coding' procedures for efficient accounting
• Execute 'Automated Clearing House (ACH)' transactions for seamless payment processes.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Account Coding is required for the role of Accounts Payable Specialist.
• The applicant must have a strong working knowledge of Oracle.
• The ability to perform vendor maintenance and recent TIN-matching experience is a key requirement for this position.
• Extensive experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is a must-have for all applicants.
• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions is a necessary skill for this role.
• The candidate must be adept at using Microsoft Excel for financial tasks.
