Description We are in search of an Accounting Clerk to join our team based in Agoura Hills, California. In this role, you will be an integral part of our services industry team, assisting in month-end close duties and handling various accounting tasks. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support during the month-end close process

• Assist with the generation of financial reports

• Manage the clearance of Accounts Payable invoices

• Provide support to team members as needed to manage workload

• Utilize Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Microsoft Excel to complete tasks efficiently

• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data

• Take appropriate action on customer accounts when necessary. Requirements • Applicant must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a mandatory requirement

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of advanced functions

• Prior experience in a similar role within the service industry is highly desirable

• Excellent numerical and analytical skills are essential

• The candidate must have a keen eye for detail, and the ability to spot numerical errors

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage large amounts of data

• Ability to work independently and maintain high levels of confidentiality

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Must be a team player with good interpersonal skills

• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles is required

• Familiarity with financial regulations, particularly within the service industry would be an added advantage

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance

• Candidate should be comfortable working with tight deadlines and under pressure.
