The Raymond Corporation Logistic Coordinator - Fort Worth, TX in Fort Worth, Texas
The New Logistics Coordinator at MLC is responsible for managing and scheduling shipments, ensuring smooth operations in logistics and coordination with various stakeholders. The role involves creating Bills of Lading (BOLs), coordinating deliveries, and managing freight costs, both within and outside Malin's territory. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills to work effectively with the cradling team, Post Sales Project Coordinator, other dealers, and Raymond Logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- BOL Management: Create and schedule all Bills of Lading (BOLs) for shipments from the MLC, including coordination with Malin drivers and external outsourcing partners.
- Cradling Coordination: Collaborate with the cradling team, led by Kacey, to schedule all cradled deliveries.
- Field Install Coordination: Organize all field installations (non-cradled) efficiently and accurately.
- Forecasting: Work closely with the Post Project Sales Coordinator to forecast units arriving at the MLC, utilizing DVR research.
- Inter-Dealer & Logistics Coordination: Partner with other dealers and Raymond Logistics to facilitate direct shipments to customers within Malin territory as needed.
- Billing: Ensure all shipment files are sent to billing upon dispatch.
- Freight Cost Management: Monitor and manage freight costs on sales files to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints.
- Out-of-Territory Shipments: Coordinate all direct shipments outside of Malin's territory, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in logistics and shipment coordination
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams
- Experience in managing freight costs and budgeting
- Familiarity with creating and managing BOLs
- Knowledge of the material handling industry is a plus
