Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for scheduled maintenance and breakdowns of production equipment, assisting with the setup and changeover of production lines, fabricating machine parts, and assembling machines when necessary. You will work within the Facilities Industrial Repair & Maintenance job family, applying acquired skills and company policies to complete assigned tasks. The role involves semi-routine assignments with occasional deviation from standard practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance and address breakdowns of production equipment.

• Assist with the setup and changeover of production lines as needed.

• Fabricate needed machine parts and assemble machines.

• Read and interpret blueprints.

• Mechanically repair conveyors, screw machines, presses, cold headers, and threaders.

Essential Skills

• 5-7 years of mechanical and electrical experience (60/40 mechanical).

• Experience in metals preferred.

• Fabrication experience.

• Industrial mechanical troubleshooting and repair.

• Basic welding and cutting procedures.

• Proficient use of machinist measurement tools.

• Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams.

• Proven ability to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment mechanically.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Positive attitude, good judgment, and excellent time management skills.

• Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.

• Capable of overcoming obstacles and completing assignments in a timely manner.

Work Environment

The position is for the 2nd shift, from 2:15 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday. You will be working with various machines including conveyors, screw machines, presses, cold headers, and threaders.

This is a Permanent position based out of Addison, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $74880.00
