Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

The Maintenance & Repair Mechanic will be responsible for assisting in preventive maintenance, repair, and installation of manufacturing equipment. The role requires extensive work fixing hydraulic issues, troubleshooting various systems, and ensuring the overall functionality and safety of facility equipment.

Responsibilities

• Fix hydraulic issues, focusing on gauges and flow control valves.

• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to determine causes of machine failure and recommend solutions for repair.

• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on facility equipment as scheduled.

• Maintain the cleanliness, functionality, and safety of maintenance equipment, tools, and work areas.

• Repair building and grounds equipment, fixtures, and tools as necessary to ensure the safety of all employees.

• Design, fabricate, and weld machine components or fixtures to ensure the proper functionality of facility equipment.

• Remove and install electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic machine components to ensure the safe and efficient operation of production equipment.

Essential Skills

• Experience in maintenance technician roles, troubleshooting, and working with hydraulics.

• Knowledge of pilot valves, pressure valves, valves, pumps, molds, and molding.

• Proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLCs.

• Ability to troubleshoot pneumatic and mechanical systems.

• Experience with preventive maintenance and PLC troubleshooting.

• Understanding of industrial, electrical, and mechanical maintenance and repair.

• Ability to work with 480V electrical systems and read schematics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 40lbs regularly.

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced with a good culture. Steel-toed boots are required. Will require a higher-level candidate with experience, as they will be working more independently. The environment is non-climate controlled.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Acworth, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $35.00
