The Maintenance Technician / Electromechanical Technician will be tasked with assisting in the preventive maintenance, repair, and installation of manufacturing equipment in a heavy industrial setting.
This role involves removing and installing machine components to ensure the safe and efficient operation of production equipment. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting systems to identify the causes of machine failures and suggesting repair solutions. The mechanic will work closely with Process Technicians and Operators to gain insight into machine failures or component fabrication requirements.
Additionally, the role entails designing, fabricating, and welding machine components or fixtures to ensure the proper functionality of facility equipment. The mechanic will document machine malfunctions and necessary adjustments, conduct test runs of machine modifications to verify safe operation and compliance with quality standards, and perform routine analyses and calculations, recommending changes to equipment, products, or testing methods.
We Are Looking For:
Mechanical Skills: Welding, Fabrication, Pump rebuild/replace, Hydraulic experience, Basic industrial mechanical knowledge, gearbox, chains, cylinders, use of power tools, etc.
Electrical Skills: 480vac, 600vac controls, Starters, VFD's, soft starts. Conduit, wire size, panel builds. 120/220vac controls, ability to troubleshoot. Be able to use multimeter, megger, amp probe. Understand and be able to troubleshoot low voltage controls 24dc/24ac circuits. Troubleshoot/Replace motors and other electrical equipment. Read and interpret prints.
