Minimum Educational qualification :

Minimum of First Degree in Finance or any related discipline, accounting designation (ICA /ACCA) is a plus.

Minimum Relevant work experience:

Minimum of 2yrs and above in financial reporting, management accounting, costing and auditing in FMCG companies is an added advantage.

Nestlé Business Services is currently looking for a Finance Analyst who is a Native French Speaker, and will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting procedures and Standards. This role involves reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, managing financial KPIs and works closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate financial operations and contribute to the organization's financial health and success.

Responsibilities:

Accounting Operations and Management accounting

  • Ensure a seamless and real-time running of the Financial Reporting processes to aid the speed of delivery in providing real-time and accurate financial information to Management and other users.

  • Develop and uphold robust internal controls and procedures to safeguard the integrity of financial reporting

  • Coordinate the implementation of improvements to streamline accounting processes

  • Prepare Dynamic Forecast (DF) reports and analysis for review by the Business Analysts

  • Consolidation of Key figures for the country during Period End Closing (PEC)

  • Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations, empowering management to make well-informed business decisions.

  • Review account reconciliations.

Closing & Financial Reporting

• Participate actively in the period-end closing process

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

• Review and submits final reports which are currently in NBS scope

Internal Controls & Compliance

• Work with other department to apply accounting recommendations to operational issues to ensure accounting controls are maintained. Ensure compliance with market tax requirements.

Others

• Manage all external aspects of audit relating to accounting

• Manage audit process improvements relating to accounting

What Will Make You Successful?

• Fluent with Accounting and Finance terms (e.g. Chart of Account, General Ledger, Debit/ Credit)

• Strong Team Player

• Good understanding of Balance Sheet General Ledger Accounts

• Good understanding of Income Statement General Ledger Accounts

• Good understanding with Sub ledger vs General Ledger Reconciliation

• Strong Analytical Skills

• Drive to take initiative and to improve processes

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Problem identification and solving
