Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Abu Dhabi National Hotels Company PJSC. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

A Cluster Sales Manager in Corporate sector position is accountable for proactively soliciting and handling corporate sales opportunities. Ensures business is turned over properly across all cluster hotels and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery. Assists in leading all day-to-day activities related to sales with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives. Achieves personal sales goals, all while consistently contributing to departmental objectives. In particular, you will be accountable for the following responsibilities, which must be completed to the utmost standards:

Building Successful Relationships that Generate Sales Opportunities

• Works collaboratively with off-property sales channels to ensure sales efforts are coordinated, complementary and not duplicative.

• Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc.

• Develops relationships within community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities.

• Manages and develops relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

• Provides accurate, complete and effective turnover to Corporate Sales Management.

Managing Sales Activities

• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary materials and information.

• Protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.

• Follow company and department policies and procedures

• Participates in sales calls with members of sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business.

• Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).

Using Knowledge of Market Trends and Target Customer Information to Maximize Revenue

• Identifies new business to achieve personal and location revenue goals.

• Understands the overall market – competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them.

• Closes the best opportunities for the location based on market conditions and location needs.

• Gains understanding of the location’s primary target customer and service expectations; serves the customer by understanding their business, business issues and concerns, to offer better business solution.

Providing Exceptional Customer Service

• Supports the company’s service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.

• Services our customers in order to grow share of the account.

• Executes and supports the company’s customer service standards.

• Provides excellent customer service consistent with the daily service basics of the company.

• Sets a positive example for guest relations.

• Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.

Reports & Productivity

• Provides and completes necessary sales reports and presentations as required.

• Ensures to track and follow the necessary KPI’s and targets.

• Ensures to monitor and achieve sales goals as requested by CDOS

• Participates in all sales cluster meetings as requested

Additional Responsibilities

• Performs other duties, as assigned, to meet business needs.

Occupational, Health, Safety and Security

Report work related accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to your direct manager/supervisor. Follow all company policies and procedures related to occupational health, safety and security. Develop and implement appropriate OSH procedures in the department by ensuring OSH management systems are in place and operating effectively.

Safety & Security:

• Adhere to all company and safety and security policies and procedures;

• Report any maintenance requirements, accidents, injuries, or hazardous work conditions to the manager.

• Complete all required safety training and certifications in accordance with the law.

• Acquires knowledge of hotel fire safety and kitchen firefighting equipment.

• Ensure safe operation and storage of tools, equipment, and machines by following policies and procedures.

• Maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information.

• Safeguard company assets.

• Immediately report work-related incidents or injuries to manager/supervisor.

• Prevent injuries by using suitable equipment, PPE, and lifting practices.

• Obtain necessary safety training and certifications for work tasks

• Report and fix unsafe work methods or conditions to management and security/safety officials.

• Adhere to property-specific emergency procedures for evacuations, medical emergencies, and natural catastrophes.

• Performs assigned jobs and special projects.

A Cluster Sales Manager – Corporate, representing our brand is consistently advocating for our guests and collaborating with other associates. In order to effectively fulfill this position, it is imperative that you uphold the following attitudes, behaviors, skills, and values:

• At least 2 years work experience as Assistant Sales Manager or 1 year as Sales Manager particularly in Corporate Sector in UAE Hospitality Market.

• Bachelors or Masters Equivalent.

• Positive attitude.

• Ability to work under pressure

• Proven ability to work with a team and follow instructions

• Working in an environment with rigorous standards and the ability to multitask
