Thomas Jefferson Univ Surgical RNFA - OR - PRN Day - Abington Jefferson in Abington, Pennsylvania

Reference #: 9309090 Under the general supervision of the Staff Physician, the RNFA is a member of the Surgical team and provides patient services. The RNFA must adhere to the guidelines established by the Department of Surgery and the department of nursing. Patient population ranges from infancy through late adulthood. Meets all standards of the Patient Satisfaction Initiative Criteria in order to make AMH the hospital of choice for Patients and Employees. Provides advanced RNFA clinical support to the Surgeon and RNFArsquo;s to assure continuity of patient care. Engages in continuing education activities which promote professional growth. Participates in team strategic planning and quality assurance activities in order to provide optimum safe patient care. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Varying Shifts: Potential for Days/Evenings 8/10/12hrs Experience:2+ years of experience as a RNFA in surgery.Robotic / laparoscopic experience preferred Education and Training: RN, BSN degree required. License Certification and Registration: RN licensed in PA; RNFA certificate required. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jeffersonrsquo;s clinical entities or at the University. If you are not currently vaccinated you will be required to receive the vaccination prior to hire date if you are offered employment, unless you request and receive an approved medical or religious exemption from Jefferson.
