CINTAS CORPORATION NO 2 Route Service Sales Representative in Abilene, Texas

Job Purpose: Route Service Sales Representatives (RSSR) manage and grow customer accounts in the Rental Division. RSSRs drive a truck along an established route and service an existing customer base. The job is a physical, fast-paced, indoor/outdoor position in which the RSSR delivers and picks up uniforms, shop towels, chemical cleaning products, and other rental products. RSSRs are the face of Cintas to our customers and must work to build rapport with key decision makers, ensure quality standards, and pro-actively solve customer concerns. Responsibilities also include growing our existing customer base by upselling and cross-selling additional products and services, negotiating service agreement renewals, and controlling inventory all while working professionally, safely, and complying with the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Job Responsibilities: Vehicle Operation:

  • Safely operates a Cintas owned vehicle by observing all traffic laws and regulations and by complying with the Department of Transportation (DOT)

Route Performance:

  • Controls key performance indicators such as lost business, accounts receivable, lost replacement revenue, material cost and delinquent renewals to achieve business results

Sales Growth:

  • Increases weekly volume by selling and meeting sales goals through new accounts, providing sales leads, catalog sales, and adding on additional products and/or services to current customer base

Customer Service and Delivery:

  • Carries out procedural tasks such as delivering clean products, picking up soiled products and scanning garments to build customer rapport and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction

Communication:

  • Uses clear and effective verbal communication skills when required on expressing ideas, requesting action and formulating plans

All Other Duties:

  • Perform all other duties as assigned, including carrying out responsibilities, performing duties, using skills and working in conditions necessary to perform all assigned tasks
