CACI is seeking a cleared Training Development Manager to support the development of Training Products for the Mounted Mission Command family of systems at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Assessment of training requirements, identification and evaluation of training alternatives, formulation of training courses, development of requisite training materials and documentation, and development of programmatic timeline schedules.

  • Support efforts to review contractor-developed training support packages (TSP) for accuracy and completeness and decide as to whether the provided TSP meets the overall requirement.

  • Support, coordinate, and conduct the validation and verification events for Training Support Packages which include lesson plans and software user manuals developed for the Mounted Mission Command (MMC) Programs.

  • Support with government oversight, the coordination and planning of all MMC baseline Logistics Demonstration including but not limited to In-Progress Reviews (IPR’s) with key stakeholders; develop execution schedules and manage critical path events and anticipate/identify risk areas; review the task analysis list; assists in the development and coordinates fault list based on training plans, TBs, and TMs; develops Log Demo plan; synchronizes soldier/ proponent/ training developer/ SME personnel support; coordinates shipment of hardware/ software for the event; ensures systems are configured to support the event; ensures Training Support Package (TSP) documentation redlines are incorporated correctly promptly; supports the development of Log Demo report and coordinates with PM/ATEC.

  • Support MMC Logistics Demonstration Director, as required. Duties include but are not limited to, consolidating MMC Log Demo (LD) activities to ensure synchronization of other parallel LDs being conducted simultaneously; conducting the LD activities; ensuring that proper procedures are followed and that LD data is properly documented and recorded; and coordinating the Project Office review and completion of the LD final Report.

  • Support and coordinate efforts to compile a Quick Reference Guide for the MMC systems in support of a Logistics Demonstration under a compressed schedule.

  • Support, as required, Materiel Release (MR) or Software Release (SR) activities and coordinate with various stakeholders (safety, ATEC, CECOM, etc.) to ensure the proper training-related documentation is prepared and received in support of a successful MR or SR.

  • Responsible for the review of MMC-related training deliverables provided to the Government.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • An Active DOD Secret Clearance

  • BA/BS from an accredited college or university and seven years of DOD training experience OR a Senior position as a military trainer, at grade E7 or higher, may be substituted for the degree requirement. An additional three years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement

  • A minimum of one year of experience in training conduct and training development, the assessment of training requirements, identification and evaluation of training alternatives, formulation of training courses, development of requisite training materials and documentation, and development of programmatic timeline schedules.

  • A minimum of one year experience in the development and employment of a variety of training approaches including traditional classroom, programmed learning, hands-on training and simulators, and video, audio, and computer-based training.

  • Be able to demonstrate excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Former Army Officer or non-commissioned officer (NCO) with experience at a TRADOC Center of Excellence, Mission Training Center, or operational experience.

  • Knowledge of Blue Force Tracking, Joint Battle Command Platform, and Joint Capabilities Release.

  • Understanding of the current C5ISR software-intensive systems being used in the Army.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$68,400 - 143,700 USD
