Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking for a Secret Clojure Software Engineer to join our team. On a day-to-day basis, you will develop and maintain Clojure 1.11 code, utilizing the Clojure CLI command line tool, and work on frontend development using ClojureScript, React, or similar libraries. You will design and implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) frameworks, including business processes, policies, and technologies for managing digital identities. Managing IAM systems such as single sign-on, two-factor authentication, multifactor authentication, privileged access management, and identity lifecycle management (provisioning and deprovisioning) will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will develop and integrate REST APIs, use SQL for database manipulation and querying, and utilize Docker for containerization, managing and deploying applications within the Docker ecosystem. You will also use Git for version control, managing code repositories, and collaborating with team members, all while maintaining a strong focus on security throughout all development and implementation processes.

$70/hr to $100/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

- Secret Clearance

- Bachelors Degree and 7 years of experience

o Additional experience can be considered in lieu of degree

- Experience with Clojure 1.11

o Intermediate or Senior Clojure developer with 2+ years of experience.

o Experience using the Clojure CLI command line tool.

o Frontend experience with Clojure script, React or equivalent rendering library

- Experience in implementation of Identity and Access Management (IAM) frameworks: business processes, policies and technologies that facilitate the management of electronic or digital identities

- Expertise in systems used for IAM including single sign-on systems, Two-factor authentication, multifactor authentication, and privileged access management and Identity Lifecycle Management (provisioning and deprovisioning)

- Good understanding of REST API concepts.

- Strong knowledge of SQL for database manipulation and querying.

- Proficient with the Docker ecosystem and commands.

- Proficient with Git. null
