We are
seeking
a highly skilled and results-oriented Project Manager to lead our Emerging Technology Team at VES. This is a key position responsible for
leveraging
Army Operational (Tactical C5ISR Systems)
expertise
in
developing scalable product software and integrated hardware offerings. You will oversee
and grow
a small, dynamic technical team of software engineers, ensuring products are developed in line with end user customer needs and market demand while
leveraging
VES' agile development processes to rate progress. The role also includes driving the marketing for VES' presence at AUSA 2025, as well as building a robust sales pipeline for the products developed by the Emerging Technology Team in 2026 and beyond. The ideal candidate will bring Army leadership experience, strong project management skills,
a
background bringing new products to market,
workforce mentorship and growth, and the ability to
operate
independently while navigating both technical and operational complexities.
We are a small business headquartered out of Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. We have grown up to 56 employees, many of them getting our footprints

in other areas of the United States. This
particular role
will support our team in Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. Established in 2014, our core competencies are the development of custom government off the Shelf (GOTS) infrastructure solutions, integrating mission command systems, and prototyping emerging technologies for use in the Army tactical architecture. We are a company built entirely of engineers, focused completely on solving the DoD's hardest software systems integration challenges.

- Leadership and Product Development:

``` - Utilize Project Management Professional (PMP) methodologies to create detailed project plans, define clear milestones, track progress, and ensure successful project delivery. Ensure alignment with project scope, budget, and timeline, adhering to best practices in risk management and quality assurance.
