ASRC FEDERAL (Agile Decision Sciences) is seeking a UX Web Developer Journeyman for our contract located at Aberdeen Proving Ground. This is a REMOTE position with occasional travel to the client site required.

UX Web Developer Journeyman

Position Description: The UX Web Developer Journeyman will design and develop user-friendly web applications with a focus on enhancing user experience. This role involves creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, as well as implementing these designs using front-end technologies. The UX Web Developer Journeyman will work closely with UX designers, developers, and product managers to create engaging and intuitive user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement user-friendly web interfaces.

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.

• Collaborate with UX designers and developers to ensure design feasibility.

• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback.

• Stay updated with the latest UX/UI trends and technologies.

Requirements :

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 5 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UX design

• Proficient with visual design programs such as Adobe toolset and others

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create top-performing interfaces

• Ability to support web application of any language to include. Netcore, Java Spring boot, Python

• Experience with coding and ability to troubleshoot using HTML, CSS and comparable languages

• Continued education and research into UX trends and current design strategy and technologies

• Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently

• Experience creating storyboards and website mapping

• Clear and effective at communicating requests, changes and user feedback and requirements through documentation and other means

• Experience on an Agile team

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).

• Experience with design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma.

• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Must be a U.S citizen eligible for a Secret Security Clearance
