ASRC FEDERAL (Agile Decision Sciences) is seeking a Software Developer Senior III for our contract located at Aberdeen Proving Ground. This position is REMOTE with occasional travel to the customer site required.

Software Developer Senior III

Position Description: This position supports software development efforts under ASRC Federal’s CECOM SETA Support within the PEO EIS MSP. The PEO EIS MSP ensures that the U.S. Army’s software systems are designed, developed, and maintained to meet operational demands. As a Software Developer Senior III, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications, designing tools and interfaces, and ensuring secure coding practices in compliance with DoD standards.

Requirements :

Minimum Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or another Engineering or Technical discipline is required.

• Must have 8 years within the last 10 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining software for various engineering applications.

• Experience working with analysts to understand their analytic or interface requirements.

• Experience developing tools and interfaces.

• Ability to design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software applications.

• Experience setting operational specifications and formulating and analyzing software requirements.

• Experience designing embedded systems software.

• Must have three or more years of experience developing ASP.NET/C# web applications with SQL Server or Azure SQL databases and applying DoD database and code security.

• Federal Investigative Standards: TIER 3.

• Secret security clearance.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Oracle database administration.

• Experience with Oracle installation, configuration, and maintenance.

• Strong understanding of database concepts, including data modeling, database design, and SQL programming.

• Experience with high availability and disaster recovery solutions for Oracle.

• Knowledge of Oracle security concepts and best practices.

• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of Oracle databases.

• Familiarity with backup and recovery procedures for Oracle.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• IAT Level 2 IAW AR 25-2 and DoD 8570-01M.

Desired Skills:

• SAP Oracle certification is a plus.

• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
