Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join our team, focusing on the maintenance and repair of CL 215 aircraft. This role involves performing A and B checks, conducting inspections, and handling various parts of the aircraft. You will also be responsible for engine removal and reinstallation, and will have the opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Perform A and B checks on CL 215 aircraft.

• Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft components.

• Disassemble and reassemble various aircraft parts.

• Remove and reinstall engines.

• Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and expertise.

Required Skills

• Aircraft maintenance

• Heavy maintenance

• Aircraft maintenance repair

• Aircraft Mechanic License - M2

• 5+ years of experience as an Aircraft Mechanic or AME

Compensation & Travel Package

-$50-55 per hour (Based on experience and qualifications/Certification)

-Per Diem: $75.00 per calendar day

-Hotel accommodation provided; non-shared

-Car rental provided; and gas included

-Flights provided or mileage expensed

-Flight travel time paid up to 10 hours based on flying time

Work Environment

This position is based at the Shell Aerocentre in Abbotsford, with accommodations provided nearby at the Sandman. The work schedule is Monday to Saturday, from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the possibility of 12-hour days. Rotation schedule: 3 weeks on and 1 week off. You will be part of a team of about 8 people, including both company employees and contractors.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00
