Position: Certified Nurse Aide
Job Status: Full Time; 12 Hour Day Shifts
Required Skills and Responsibilities:
Ability to be courteous, diplomatic and tactful when interacting with others
Ability to remain calm
Ability to follow directions and function effectively during emergent, urgent or unexpected events
Ability to take initiative and promptly and appropriately follow through with patient care duties
Ability to respond to patient/family requests and needs
Able to prioritize tasks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attend department and hospital meetings
Participate in department activities and in-services
Responsible for strict conformance with all applicable health and safety rules, standards, policies and procedures of HNJH
Remain alert to safety hazards and take appropriate action
Qualifications:
CNA Certification required or achieved within 6 months of hire
BLS required or within 6 months of hire
Familiar with medical terminology
Minimum of 6 months experience preferred
