Amazon Sr. Content Developer, Asia Seller Education in 44, China

The Global Selling team in China is responsible for recruiting local businesses to sell on Amazon’s 14 overseas marketplaces, and supporting local Sellers’ success and growth on the Amazon. Our PMO team is looking for a Sr. Content Developer who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and has a strong training and development background. As a content developer, you will work with Subject-Matter-Experts on analyzing, designing and developing high quality training content for multiple learning programs for Asia-based Global Seller. You will play a significant role in the training and development of a successful and effective Asia Seller Education team.

The qualified candidate will have excellent writing skills, a healthy knowledge of cross-border ecommerce domains, and the ability to translate technical content into easy-to-understand training. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have training, instructional design or technical documentation experience. Above all, you will have a passion for learning.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Dive deep into Amazon Global Selling subjects, such as Seller Registration, Seller Central, Product & Tax Compliance, Account Health, Global Category Trends, Product Listing, Merchandising, Global Logistics & Inventory Management, Brand Owner Success or other Amazon program areas to understand each domain and develop effective training content for our customers.

  2. Work with stakeholders to understand training needs and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts across Asia Global Selling to build technically accurate training that meets the learning objectives.

  3. Respond to changes in products/programs/features/policies by revising content at the pace of innovation.

  4. Facilitate requirements gathering meetings with content stakeholders to define the appropriate learning objectives, modalities and expectations.

  5. Collaborate with multiple functional groups to develop training content that educates customers on the full portfolio of Amazon Global Selling subjects.

We deliver high-quality education when and where Sellers need it and drive innovation to optimize Seller experience over time. Our portfolio consists of global and local-initiated programs to fulfill Sellers’ learning preferences with Self-service learning and Instructor-led training. Our team members come from multiple industry with diverse expertise, are based in China, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, and collaborate together toward one Seller Success vision for Asia-based Sellers.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion

  • Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing external partners to develop marketing programs

  • Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives
