Amazon Sr. Regional Partner BD Manager in 33, China

Amazon Global Selling has been helping individuals and businesses increase sales and reach new customers around the globe. Today, more than 50% of Amazon's total sales come from third-party selections. The Global Selling team in China is responsible for recruiting local businesses to sell on Amazon’s 19 overseas marketplaces, and supporting local sellers’ success and growth on Amazon. Our vision is to be the first choice for all types of Chinese business to go globally.

Partner Development team primarily works with local strategic partners, industry leading associations, and strategic key partners to create/shape better local supporting ecosystem for Amazon Global Selling to operate and develop in our 10 offices across China and for prospects and Amazon sellers to better engage in and grow Amazon businesses. We are looking for enthusiastic candidates with a passion to drive sellers' recruitment and development in a scalable way through earning support from local stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities

His/her responsibilities include but not limited to:

1) Identifying and building regional partnerships to drive Amazon Global Selling's penetration in the local market;

2) Building the regional alliance system with key partners incl. associations/KOLs/service providers to enhance their support for Amazon Global Selling business;

3) Develop and achieve business cooperation with regional partners supporting regional business expansion;

4) Driving leads acquisitions, especially in the manufacturers and brand owners segments, from strategic partner channels;

5) Facilitating high-level meetings between Amazon Global Selling executives and key stakeholders, including senior partner officials;

6) Acting as the point of contact from Amazon Global Selling to local strategic partners, to handle related requests and issues properly;

and

7) Working closely with corporate functions such as PP, PR, Legal, and Tax for prior alignment.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years working experience, among which 5 + years in partnership development, business development, or project management;

  • Proven track record of sealing deals with partner;

  • Excellent communicator, comfortable with frequent cross-functional and senior management communications and be able to exert indirect authority to deliver results;

  • Excellent oral and written English and Chinese, capability to write formal documents; and

  • Can handle frequent travels.

  • Collaborative attitude and ability to stay calm under pressure
