We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Chevrolet Service Manager to join our team and lead our service department to new heights.

Job Summary:

The Chevrolet Service Manager will oversee the service department's day-to-day operations, ensure efficient workflow, ensure exceptional customer satisfaction, and achieve departmental goals. This role requires a strong leader with a passion for customer service, a deep understanding of GM vehicles, and a commitment to automotive repair and maintenance excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Manage and motivate a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff. Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure a high-performing team.

  • Customer Service: Foster a customer-focused environment, promptly addressing customer concerns and resolving issues to ensure a positive experience.

  • Operations Management: Oversee the scheduling of service appointments, workflow in the service bays, and parts inventory management. Ensure that all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the quality of service and repair work, ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards and dealership policies.

  • Financial Management: Develop and manage the service department budget, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement strategies to achieve financial goals.

  • Sales and Marketing: Promote service specials, maintenance packages, and upsell opportunities to customers. Collaborate with the sales team to drive service-related revenue.

  • Compliance: Ensure the service department follows all safety regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and dealership policies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Service Manager or in a similar role within an automotive dealership, preferably with GM vehicles.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • In-depth knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance, particularly GM models.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Proficiency in service department software and management systems; CDK Experience preferred.

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
