Assistant General Manager of Automotive Accessorization

Position Summary:

As part of an award winning team in the logistics industry, you will provide complete management oversight for assigned terminals of responsibility such as monitoring staffing, directing work flow process creation & execution, safety meetings, responsibility for P&L. interfacing with customers (internal & external) and addressing issues that may arise.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Ensuring compliance with all applicable OSHA, EPA, FRA and DOT regulations

• Ensuring compliance with customer and company safety policies and procedures

• Ensuring all subordinates understand and comply with applicable customer and company work instructions, quality procedures and site SOP's

• Embody the Ethical practices and Core Principles of the Company

• Managing site performance relative to financial and productivity goals, developing, implementing and monitoring corrective actions where appropriate

• Develop, implement and reinforce KPI measurements

• Develop, implement and reinforce work procedures related to automotive accessorization tasks performed

• Creating a culture of mutual accountability and respect

  What's Required:

• High School Diploma/GED or Ability

• Minimum of 5 years experience managing a workforce of up to 50 associates

• 5 or more years experience managing an automotive up-fitting or accessorization facility.

• Prefer experience managing multiple sites across a geographic area

• Ability to work in fast paced environment

• Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma training/experience highly preferred

• Valid state driver's license
