About the roles We are looking for two passionate and dedicatedDeployment Principal Advisorto join our Nuton team. In this newly created role, you'll be responsible for monitoring conditions and practices at deployment sites to ensure the successful implementation and execution of our latest and proprietary leaching technology. In this role, you will provide guidance to the operators and feedback to team leaders throughout the construction and operation of our demonstration projects.You will also act as an onsite representative of the team while interfacing with operators, site management, vendors, external laboratories, and subject matter experts to optimize the performance of our heap leach operations. Additionally, you will monitor bacteria health in the bioreactors, agglomeration quality, crushing and stacking rates and sizes, irrigation conditions, and other metrics related heap conditions. You'll need to be familiar with following industry practices to ensure our processes are operating accordingly. At times, you may be asked to maintain or replace monitoring equipment and/or ensure that larger equipment is maintained and repaired by another team of professionals. In this role, you'll report to theDeployment Principal Advisor, and your responsibilities will include: * Demonstrate a high level of commitment to health, safety, and environmental issues. * Monitor, document, and provide guidance to ensure operational control targets are met. * Collect and analyze samples to confirm process is operating within design parameters. * Monitor instrumentation to verify data is collected accurately. * Troubleshoot and replace probes and sensors as needed and provide regular updates on production results. * Maintain housekeeping and general condition on specific areas. * Ensure operation areas are safe and functional daily. * Adjust bio-reactor conditions as needed to optimize bacteria health. * Monitor reagent usage, inventory, and enter requisitions to replace as needed to ensure consistent operation. * Identify opportunities to improve the safety and/or functionality of the equipment being used. * Clearly communicate needs and concerns to operators, site management, and leaders. What you'll bring * A minimum of 2 years of experience in a production or laboratory environment and the ability to maintain accurate records. * Demonstrated ability to follow ESG policies and practices. * Experience with copper heap leaching principles chemical safety guidelines particularly surrounding sulfuric acid. * General laboratory methods and procedures related to copper heap leaching. * Basic understanding of microbiology related to bacteria used in sulphide leaching. * A results-driven mindset and interpersonal skills to work in diverse and interdisciplinary teams. * Familiarity with the operation of industrial equipment including, crushers, agglomeration drums, stackers, pumps, motors, blowers, agitators, etc. * Experience using Microsoft Office Suite related products.
